My Bing
The Mirror
INPursuit
Newz & Viewz
Nightstand Online

Here is a porfolio of our current and abandoned sites, to give you a taste of the types of sites we've designed in the past. We have done other sites, but those have either changed their look since we worked on them or have shut down. Where sites may have changed since our work on them, we'll note it and link to archive.org.

NHGLCC - Visit site

JJO took control of the design of the NHGLCC's newsletter print edition in the summer of 2006. More recently, we began handling the design duties of the Web site. A redesign was executed in the summer of 2007.

The Resident - Visit site

The Resident is a newspaper that has been in continuous publication for almost 20 years. JJO redesigned The Resident in the summer of 2005, installing an inexpensive content management system that allows for easy training of new staff members on how the Web site works. The site has remained relatively consistent in look since the design was handed in, although tweaks have been made. See the original design at archive.org

My Bing - Visit site

Launched in the spring of 2004, My Bing is an ambitious local portal project designed to give students at SUNY Binghamton an easier way of planning their class schedules, along with community features, giving students a unique way to participate in local discussion. JJO designed the look of the site, and its INPursuit site powers the Games section, as well as provides content for the "Read This" feature.

INPursuit - Visit site

INPursuit is the first major undertaking of the JJO web team. Originally launched as an editor-driven portal site, the Web site was completely rebuilt from scratch in the summer of 2003 with a new focus. Designed for college students, INPursuit is already receiving a bit of initial interest and is starting to gain traction.

CGI For Me - Site down

CGI For Me is one of the leading Web sites for remotely hosted services on the internet. Offering 15 scripts to make your site come alive, and with new developments arriving from time to time, the site has over 1 million visitors per month. JJO has been the lead designer of the looks of their scripts and Web site from 1998 to 2006. See various looks at archive.org

CFM Web Host - Site down

As a companion site to CGI For Me, the company launched their Web Host unit in 2000. Relaunched this spring, their current look is a modified version of a site we designed for them in 2001. As with their free services unit, JJO has been the lead the designer of their hosting services since its launch. CFM Web Host has been JJO's hosting partner since its launch, and currently hosts all of the in-house JJO sites, including this one. See various looks at archive.org

The Mirror Online - Visit site

The Mirror is the online version of The Fairfield Mirror, Fairfield University's independent student newspaper. Powered by College Publisher, JJO created the current look for the site to be simple to navigate. Design limitations existed due to the templated system, but the site still is quick-loading and elegant. We were responsible for their look from 2000-2005; they have since redesigned. See various looks at archive.org

Newz & Viewz - Site down

Newz & Viewz was a newspaper-type project that evolved into the current INPursuit site that exists today. We've left the original site up for prosperity, mainly because we redesigned it about 20 times until we hit upon the final look, and we're still pretty fond of it. See various looks at archive.org

Night Stand Online - Visit site

Night Stand Online was a tribute site to "Night Stand with Dick Dietrick," a faux-talk show that aired during the mid-90s. The site is still around because, oddly, people are still finding it seven years of the show ceased production. So hey, why not?
