Last year, I shared with you Amazon’s 25 Days of Free Holiday Songs, a recurring promotion they have offered which features 25 free MP3s to download for the holidays. The good news is it’s back, and the mixed news is it’s about as good as last year’s batch.

The promotion has always been a grab bag of tracks from various sources. They show all the tracks that will be available, even though the free downloads haven’t started yet in most cases; it’s structured like last year, where downloads become available in batches of five.  It’s exciting to see artists like Erasure, Leona Lewis (a review of that album is coming soon), Carole King and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy on the list.  I was also excited to see a song from Punk Goes Christmas, as that’s an idea that could bear fruit; the track chosen isn’t too bad.

Be sure to check back every few days for the next batch of downloads; (legit) free music is at least worth a look!
