Last year, Amazon had a 25 Days of Christmas program, where each day they posted a new song as free on the MP3 music service.  They have revived the program, although it is structured a bit differently this year.

This time out, they are posting them every five days, in batches of five.  The end result is still 25 songs, just done in a more sporadic clump of releases.  Last year’s batch was mixed in quality, and I don’t expect things to change this year.  Seeing Cyndi Lauper’s name on the initial batch was a nice surprise, though.

It’s nice to see the retailer resuming the program, and hopefully there’ll be a few more discoveries for the Christmas Present playlist!
