How music can help a workout


I’ve read various anecdotal things over the years about how music can help you with pacing and so forth when you’re working out, but Buzzfeed (of all places) has an interesting piece that covers other aspects worth keeping in mind.

While the article (like many Buzzfeed pieces) goes a bit overboard with the animated GIFs and distractions, the information, like turning up the volume, focusing on lyrics, and beats per minute, are helpful ones to get the most out of a workout. I’ve certainly noticed a difference based on what I select for my exercise, so hopefully these tips help as well.
