I previously wrote here last year about Taco Bell’s move into breakfast and the most fascinating item of them all, the Waffle Taco.

While Taco Bell continues to push to make breakfast a more obvious option for fast food eaters everywhere, they are evolving their menu, and that sadly means the death of the waffle taco.

What’s replacing it? The less appealing but more logical Biscuit Taco, which I assume resolves reservations from people who likely assumed the waffle taco would be on the messy side.

I sadly never got to try the waffle taco despite its year-long enticement; I guess I’ll have to stick with McGriddles.
