A good hotel can become great with solid Wi-Fi

Awhile back I wrote about the tallest hotel in North America, which is right around the corner from my current office. I’ve had the fortunate opportunity to stay there twice. The second time, I had Internet issues, and it turned what was an otherwise comfortable experience into something a bit closer to frustration.

For whatever reason, we still want our electronic devices to work and be fully connected, even while away, and the quality of a hotel’s Wi-Fi connection has a lot to do with it. So it’s cool to see sites that are popping up to share ratings of how a hotel’s connection fares, so when faced with choices you can use this as another way to break the tie.
