Stamford’s ‘Alive@Five’ spends time in the ’90s

Each summer, Stamford has a concert series, Alive@Five, with concerts each Thursday for a good chunk of summer.  While a bit shorter this year, this year’s line-up has some recognizable names, many who had big hits in the ’90s, but a few that date back further.

Among those performing this year are Blues Traveler, Smash Mouth, Sugar Ray and Barenaked Ladies. The Beach Boys and KC and the Sunshine Band will also play this year’s series, which starts July 10 with the latter, and ends Aug. 14 for the former.

Entrance is between $5 and $10, depending on when you arrive, which is still an incredible deal for what it is. It should be another fun Alive@Five season.
