Postmodern Jukebox rarely fails to hit it out of the park, but I particularly enjoy their collaborations with Christina Gatti. The latest maintains my high affection for them both.
This time out it’s the Ariana Grande hit, “Love Me Harder,” that gets the PMJ treatment, and they pulled a new genre out that works quite well – ’60s James Bond theme. The strings layer in beautifully behind Gatti’s impressive voice, and the end result is emotive and evocative of another time, with PMJ succeeds in doing so often. It’s definitely worth a listen.
